I finished up the latest Make Art that Sells assignment. The challenge was to create a cover to go along with the children’s story The White Cat. I’m really enjoying watching my style develop with each assignment and I had so much fun drawing the type and characters. Although, after spending some time looking at the final piece I’ve become overly critical and see a lot of things I would change if I were to do the assignment again. I suppose that means I’ve learned a few things which is always good.
Here’s what I was up to last week. This week I’m working on lots of fun new projects. Hopefully I’ll have some ready to share soon.
I just finished this guy over the weekend. I originally colored it more traditionally. But, I changed it up at the last minute because this seemed much more fun.
Such a fun prompt on Illustration Friday this week.
There were so many great fall moments this year.
Here’s something new I was going to post in response to an Illustration Friday topic except I didn’t finish in time.
